"So much better conditions after the renovation."
Skokie Country Club, Chicago
Don Cross, Golf Course Superintendent
This classic Donald Ross golf course, site of the 1922 US Open, completed a total regrassing of greens and fairways and seeding to 007 creeping bentgrass in 2015 with the course reopening for play in May of 2016. 007 bent greens cut at .105 of an inch. The new 007 fairways are tight and play fast and firm. Don Cross reports a 50% savings in fungicide use compared to his old greens and fairways.
