Adapted to warm, humid regions; grows to 3'; adapted to a wide range of soil types and textures, from sandy to heavy clay; tolerant to alkaline and acidic conditions, best when soil pH is between 6.5 and 7.5; tolerant of some flooding; very good drought tolerance; poor tolerance to saline soils; some use as turf, roadside revegetation, etc.

Drill seeded to 1/4” – 1” deep at 10–15 pounds PLS/acre. 220,000 seeds/pound.
